Rating: 3.8

Not a stupid person, yet with all she knows, she literally talks to God.
She thinks someone listens in heaven.
On earth she's unusually competent.

In my dreams, my friend reproaches me. We're walking On the same road, except it's winter now; She's telling me that when you love the world you hear celestial music: great imagination, life's philosophy and reflection. tony

The love of form......but the word " form" is very present in the poems of Louise Gluck, and I always feel some hesitation, before to translate it. Do you think that this simple word could have its importance? Pierre Mironer

A poem full of inner meaning. How much peace can be achieved by accepting the inevitable truth.

Some good lines. The last one is great. Others like the high leaping brides are hilarious.

The nonbeliever sees the material, the believer clings to what unmaterial, perhaps god is what dwells in the human spirit. Celestial music is heard by those with faith in their own divination. A wonderful poem.

Two opposing personality who both give a pluralistic view to their existence. A heart-warming story.

Beautiful poem of understanding through reflecting on somebody else's personality. I love that she shows how her friend, who is always talking to God, is actually more of the realist embracing the world AS IS, while she herself is not; this is a nice representation of God, that God can help you deal with reality instead of just escape it.

We're very quiet. It's peaceful sitting here, not speaking, The composition Fixed, the road turning suddenly dark, the air Going cool, here and there the rocks shining and glittering- It's this stillness we both love. The love of form is a love of endings.....fantastic expression. A beautiful poem of Louise Gluck is amazingly posting here.

My friend draws a circle in the dirt; inside, the caterpillar doesn't move. She's always trying to make something whole, something beautiful, an image Capable of life apart from her. great and beautiful great 10+++++++++++++
