I fell in love with a celebrity
I fell in love with a voice
A melody that carried me away.
Then seeing his face,
I was lost in a fantasy.

Then growth came,
With wealth and fame.
His beauty was faded,
In a sea of ink and smoke,
What my world calls foolishness and vanity.

I grew to see his Truth.
Written in the lines of his face—
He was in pain.
His silent screams unheard.

He looked around; Everyone was swimming,
But he was drowning.

He thought he could save others.
'But how can you save others
When you aren't safe yourself? '

In BDSM, his safe word was 'yummy, '
But we thought he meant 'it's yummy.'

Now,
It's out in the light—
His fear, his torture, his torment.
And they ask,
'Why didn't he cry out louder?
Why couldn't we understand?
Is this what they go through?
Is the industry safe? '

But I ask,
'Can he come home? '
I once heard him say,
'I'm coming home, '
But I never saw him.
I was so sure he would be home,
But he didn't come.

Now, can he still come home?
Ignore the past—
I know it's hard.
We can joke about it,
Or let it slide if he insists.

Father will heal,
And brother won't turn away.
Just come.

Matthew 11: 28 (KJV) :
'Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.'

Let love lead.
