Caterpillar Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Caterpillar

Oh caterpillar!
Go away from here
With your
Ugly stature,
Come back
Being a beautiful butterfly,
Then with your colourful wings
You can easily beautify my poetic vision.

A caterpillar is so repulsive as it wriggles and wiggles over leaves and surfaces, but when it undergoes transformation, it becomes a thing of beauty with colorful wings delighting everyone in general and inspiring poets in particular! A beautiful poem.
