Catching Tomorrow series #2 Poem by Bill Cantrell

Catching Tomorrow series #2

Rating: 5.0

Catching tomorrow,
throwing away today
Yesterday goes unfulfilled,
Ignoring all the innocent killed

Bones are bleached out
from the sun
Politics?
The smoking gun

My oh my, how the children used to play
Seeing is believing
Close our eyes,
our turn will come one day

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Each stanza meant to rhyme differently, it is abhorrent that war still continues in our day and age, A heart goes out to all of those innocent people everywhere that are being slaughtered
COMMENTS OF THE POEM

p2murder of the innocent, rape used as a deliberate weapon of terror is justified; we all have a choice to support love prosperity peace, or ceaseless violence darkness terrorism justified wars

I wrote the poem 'Ceaseless Violence Darkness: Terrorism Justified Wars', inspired by the poem 'Catching Tomorrow series #2', by the poet Bill Cantrell and dedicated to the poet Bill Cantrell.

p1I share a lover of peace abhorrence to war, I pray for the innocent everywhere caught in the crosshairs of conflict; even more abhorrent are brainwashed parents taught hate as children, teaching their own children that hate torture
