Castle In The New York Sky Poem by Dashaun Rashod Snipes

Castle In The New York Sky

Rating: 5.0

In the city that never sleeps,
Amidst the bustling streets,
Stands a castle in the sky,
That's where dreams come to fly.
With towers reaching high,
Against the urban sky,
A majestic sight to see,
This castle, oh so free.
The clouds dance around,
As the sun starts to go down,
The castle glows in golden light,
A breathtaking sight.
With turrets and spires,
That seem to touch the stars,
This castle holds secrets,
From near and far.
Its walls tell stories,
Of the city's past,
Where legends were born,
And memories will last.
In this castle, time stands still,
As the city moves with will,
A place of wonder and grace,
In this concrete jungle's embrace.
The city's chaos fades away,
As the castle glistens in the day,
A haven in the midst of it all,
A refuge from the city's brawl.
No king or queen resides,
In this castle in the sky,
But it reigns over all,
In its majestic call.
So next time you're in New York,
Look up and take a look,
For there's a castle in the sky,
That will leave you in awe and sigh.
