Hello there friend. What an imagination you have! Great read! Hey, I have a new poem Beautiful America, let me know what you think. Have a great one! Loyd
Es and Superego defend themselves well in this struggle. I was thinking about a cartoonish life as well. Cartoons: identifications of our childhood's life.
Honest and revealing, this well grounded piece reflects on the past to understand the present in a series of personal recollections - each one another frame in the narrator's colourful portrait. Original as ever... justine.
HaHaaaaaa, great piece bro, yep with you 99% though my hero of the cartoons is Danger Mouse, and Hong Kong Fewi....but everything else spot on mate. Our firsts? ? ? ......should I admit? ? ......but Ron Jeremy couldn't hold a light to me lol...fantastic piece yet again 10/10 Ya gonna be famous bro best wishes Jon.
This is an enchanting poem with just the right mix of self-deprecation and lunacy to charm the reader. Egotism, loss of Virginity and Snuffluffagus - what a brilliant combination. Works a treat. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Dude, I laughed out loud when I read this. All men can relate to the subsequent tellings of our “first.” I was sneakily reading the poem, hidden from the purview of a bunch of my buddies nearby and upon laughing out loud they had to know. I will have you know, that I read your poem to them and they all gave it high praise. You have to see this lot to appreciate it! Absolutely great poem.
Loved this David, I don't know who Rob Jeremy was, but I assume a great lover? Smiling at you, being one but not knowing these things, they just come naturally! lol Yes! popularity is a great ego inflater, the difference between us and them, is that we live it they just write it and hope it doesn't rub thin! the personality I mean....smiling more, Tai
Agreed - Snuffaluffagus is WAY cooler than the Bird. And yep - Gonzo rocks (but Animal could give him a run for his money and those old guys in the balcony seriously slay me) . I could do without the Duckman - but it I had to choose between him and the mouse - Daffy wins hands down. All that aside....... this is kind of like one of those puddles that Wile E Coyote falls in sometimes. It looks pretty harmless enough - but if you step in it, you find yourself up to your eyeballs in stuff. Unexpectedly deep in a very cool way. I like it. Muse on, poet. Christine
somebody had who let it go...burst cartoonish...like you! 10/10
