Carousel To Hell Poem by April Humason

Carousel To Hell

Enter, and surrender your soul,
To heartbreak's hell, our realm's control.
Amidst the fire, dwell and rebel,
Where goodness fades, and darkness swells.

We thrive on hate, delight in horror's gleam,
Drawing from pain, a demon's twisted dream,
The allure of wickedness, our enchanting spell,
Farewell to joy, in our somber carousel.

Within the dungeons, secrets concealed,
Pleasure a distant dream, a rainbow unrevealed,
Life devoid of afterglow, a moral overthrow,
Lost in the pit, our prey on this dark night's show.

Embrace the inferno, forsake the light,
Lust fuels the fire, shadows take flight.
Yell with wickedness, let perversions burn,
In heartbreak's hell, there's much to learn.

As we foretell your future, our truth prevails,
In this haunting ride, where darkness trails,
A carousel of souls, propelled through despair,
In our domain, the heartbreak's hell, we declare.

" As you lay in this ungodly inferno" my English teacher(s) would probably say; " it, Bri, don't use " lay" here. Use " lie" ! ! but maybe " lay" comes into play in........your dungeon! to MyPoemList bri :)
