Cares Of The Day Poem by james watkin

Cares Of The Day

Unloaded in sleep
The cares of day.
An unsettled heap;
Gently, dreamily falls away.

Loads, unloads who back
And forth scurries
With barrowed huffs, mopes;
What weigh more for nagging worries

A work crew of elf;
Hairy with brawn.
Small, and shrinking more
For to be noticed, dusk til dawn.
