Captive Poem by Petra Novakova

Captive

Rating: 5.0

Your smoldering gaze draw me in with its amber like intensity
Lost in two infinite portals to everywhere I never desired to fall
I could not tear my soul away, bound to you in eternal servitude

Your pearl white smile overshadowed even the brightests of stars
Captivated by the mystic quality of your voice: rough yet smooth
I would give my life for a single quirk of your heart shaped lips

Your fragrance wafting from a silky mane of fallen autumn leaves
Forever etched in my memory as it gently enveloped my every sense
I took it all with me when I shed the shell of the man I used to be

You were the canyon and I the river flowing within the fragrant green
Forever searching for the holy grail within the valley of your breasts
I am a man reborn anew with every taste of your skin: soft and sweet
