POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
As a die-hard Maple Leafs fan, I am very saddened to have to write this poem. I believe that the majority of their fan base is feeling like this. It's high time that The Leafs organization trade him before it's too late! ! !

There are all sorts of problems going on with our teams. Here in Canucksland our captain has just gone Wild. This verse should be part of our national heritage! I think, if it were to induct literature, even the hockey Hall of Fame should induct it.
