Capitalism (Senryu)
works in theory-
power for the one percent
struggle for the rest

Yes, especially when not regulated or regulated with only the 1% in mind
so true! a crony version of capitalism seems to be in vogue and that's sad. You see the power of the one percent everywhere. Hedge funds and the Wall Street elite controlling politicians. You see it in public institutions like the Federal Reserve and you see it in corporate America, where most of the wealth creation goes to the C-suite, not the workers.
Excellent and factual description of capitalism. Thanks for sharing.
thank you sir for your kind words. Whilst the intent of capitalism is good, the system needs modification to prevent a crony form of it to creep up in our society.

The power is so blatant, abused and so much in your face in our society. The whole area of tax policy is so skewed in favor of the wealthy. Sad, not the America, I know. Great poem, touched my heart and fed my mind.
