Canine Exocets Poem by Mervyn Graham

Canine Exocets

Rating: 5.0

This one is about hunting pigs with the farmer's dogs and my old Holden utility vehicle called Pork Buster!
Written by my cousin Donaldo Pedani (pen name)

They sunk the cruiser Sheffield,
The Falklands war it wasn't fair.
But not the mark 2 model with claws and teeth and hair!

There's scrubber, boxer and good old Blue.
They're fuelled and keen to fly.
Launched from a Holden Silo as pigs prepare to die.

Pork is spotted on the flight plan.
Porkbuster wheels and nostrils flare.
But as we bear down upon our target.
boxy boys already there?

Now when someone forgets you its really something that I hate!
And whilst conducting our low flying we left boxer at the gate!

Strewth I've seen it with me own 👀 eyes a dog faster that a jet.
That is why we proudly name them the Canine Exocets.

The pigs can hear them coming.
Their speed is just a blur.
But when they smack their target its blood n teeth n fur!

Were rigged for twilight running.
Porkers stumble in our path.
The dog's eyes shine green with menace.
It's another swine bloodbath.

As I'm running through the darkness.
Shit I'm really not that fit.
But we hear the missiles baying.
It's another direct hit!

LOOK OUT! there's one behind you.
A huge Boar 🐗 it sounds quite crazed.
But as I turn to meet my maker.
It's Steve Fagioni half pissed and dazed! 🥴

Now it's no laughing matter.
Plus a gynos light looks outa place.
But an unusual Vagina was Steve's big hairy face!

We make it to the missiles.
Release echos out the calls.
Son of tarquin never listens as he chomps that porkers balls!

Now I've heard bout reincarnation.
Some believe it and thats fine.
But I promise to be a good 👦 boy.
So I don't come back a swine!
