Candy Comments

Cassie, right? i hope you are doing well in the United States of Awesomeness! my teeth (or lack of some) is a testament to this line: Toothaches, cavities, and rotten teeth! ................i guess i avoided toothaches by having dentist to correct my problems. i now brush only once a day, but i DO use toothpaste with added fluoride. i certainly enjoyed lots of candy when i was growing up, and i'm only missing or have crowned less than a quarter of my original teeth! ! ;) i am going to put this poem into my/our August 2017 showcase of poems by (mostly) PH poets. Cassie, i'm not sure if i will allow you to use suave! for candy! poetic license aside. suave swäv/ adjective adjective: suave; comparative adjective: suaver; superlative adjective: suavest 1. (esp. of a man) charming, confident, and elegant. all the waiters were suave and deferential synonyms: charming, sophisticated, debonair, urbane, polished, refined, poised, self-possessed, dignified, civilized, gentlemanly, gallant; More but if i do allow it, then it makes for a lovely alliteration...........sweet/suave. :) Yet the price I would not have to pay is this: Toothaches, cavities, and rotten teeth! ..............this is clever, and true, as long as they remain friends and don't become enemies, 'cause then they may become worse than cavities in your teeth! ! ! : ( i liked peppery canes for peppermint canes or candy canes. my favorite lines: Chocolate-covered coffee beans, Raisins, blueberries, and strawberries; ............give me the fruit; i'll pass on the coffee beans. are they good? thanks for sharing. bri :)
