Come with me as day turns to night
We will have dinner here by candlelight
The table is set for your nocturne treat
Escargot as a starter is really so neat
Fish is the next dish on my menu
Some pan-fried turbot just for you
White wine with this goes so well too
It was hard to think of an unusual dish
However, for the main course I got my wish
Roasted kangaroo mini sweet corn and carrots too
All of vegetables to go with this dish I grew
This meat was delicious, what did you think
Time for some red wine, what do you drink?
In the kitchen, the chef has no time to sit down
We time for the desert the chef said, with a frown
Strawberry mousse with whipped cream and honey
Well this combination is not so funny
To clean the palate and finish this meal
What comes next is really no big deal
Cheeses from counties far
Along with coffee out of a jar
Crackers accompany all these
