Candle Poem by mohanan viswambharan Nair

Candle

Rating: 5.0

I am a candle,
Burning for noble.
People hold off the darkness
By my light in fairness.

Ladies keep me in mantlepiece.
I peep out them through a crevice.
I am often moved to outside,
Like moon moves upper side.

Lunar lights up the water lilies.
I light up to avert others' vanities.
The moon doesn't burn for light.
I burn to devour my might.
