Dear Mary there has been so many times that I have wanted to put the Blanket on the Ground, and remember youths utopa. This poem has said it all and brought back so many memories. Cheers Sylvie
Dear Mary, I often think that as men we seem to be almost unable at times to see the world in the same way as women. But then I start to wonder if maybe it's just the timing of our feelings.I'll be honest i'm not sure. But I hope that you find continued love from the world.Love Duncan
Hey. Thought I would check out some of your work, and I really enjoy it. Your stanzas flow very nicely, and the poem speaks to me, as I'm sure it does to all who are trying to rekindle some lost passion. Nicely done. :)

Dear Mary After your very encouraging comment on my poem this one may sound like I am trying to praise yours in return. Actually I am very moved by this poem which is so intensely personal but so well conveys so universal a feeling. ' Wonderful' sums up my assessment and I really mean it fully. Uday
Mary-I agree wholeheartedly...this poem is great. You have written on a subject I am sure many people can relate to. Well done, Mary!
Yes, very well done. This is what I would call a genuine poem. H
It's still a man's world Mary, they seem to forget we still need to be appreciated, somehow it's hard to rekindle that first young romantic time. Lovely poem. Sincerely Ernestine.
Mary, this proves to all who doubted that a rhyming poem can be serious as well as lovely. This is such a personal poem and I thank you for being brave enough to post it. It gives us a glimpse into your life and your past. Raynette
Mary, this is a beautiful poem, there is passion and longing, there is also innocence, by the raft I saw a very young Mary, all the best.
Mary, I love this. I, too, have a special place in my memories for the raft and revisit it often.
Mary, this poem speaks volumes about relationships... a great reminder to get those sparks flying again before the fire goes out for good. Great poem! ! Brian
