Can't I give in?
Into the luscious darkness,
Right now it seems like a peaceful place to be,
No sounds,
No light,
No pain,
I want to be engulfed in the velvet folds of
Black,

Oh!
Darkness consumes me now!
Even if for only a few,
Make the voices and the pain recede, disappear,
For only a few.

Oh!
The stinging pain that returns, day after day in my eyes,
In my soul,
In my body,
And in my heart,
Make the emotional roller-coaster stop,
