In your eyes I want to stay In your heart I want to grow ................................................ Nothing's ever felt so real Can't escape, won't even try ................................................. You have seized a divine spark from a corner of your eye and have lighted an eternal fire of love, too lovely rhyme, simply wonderfully, Brian. Tsira

Those words 'garden eyes' captivate me! This has the sound of an Elizabethan love song - delightful. Linda

I like this line a lot even though it provokes that garden of Eden with its sense of innocence - and a beginning just as this poem is: Alive inside your garden eyes.

That Jack Russell's a funny guy! ! This is a terrifically well written poem Brian. It's excellent from end to end. Tells the story of falling in love as quickly as it happens and transmits all the emotion of the process and what it means to you straight into the reader's mind and heart. jim

Beautiful poem, Brian...trips along nicely without missing a (heart) beat. Full credit to you :) jack. (is the 'p' problem the one symtomatic of PH, or is 'gripped' a mis-spelling?)
