Can a drop of water drink the whole ocean?
Can a person and his reflection in the mirror unite together?
The lover of God must remain distinct from Him:
In the relationship of servant and master;
In the relationship of lover and beloved;
In the relationship of worshipper and worshipped;
In the relationship of seeker and sought;
Only thus will he come to know...
God's eternal love for his creation;
And through his insight will he know...
How God loves to be loved through his creation;
But, if he were to say that God and he are one...
...he will never achieve that awareness and cognition.
