Calmness and peace
Tuesday,5th March 2019
The feeling of panic and fear
when fighters roar in the air
take their payload for the bombardment
a moment for an excitement
Our heads remain high
when they fly
overhead and make the presence
we are relieved from the tense situation
The peace remains a distant dream
the gloom descends and uncertainty prevail
you can imagine our life at border places
the mortars fire and pierce our house walls
is it for the piece of land?
that we turn foes from friends
care for no precious lives
and believe that religion demands the land
no country can part with
even by force or by the threat
the blood may flow on both the sides
future course may decide the fate
can anybody think of life in bunkers?
when you hear the constant shelling of mortars!
who knows what shall hit our houses?
is this the meaning calm and peace?
