California's Screamin' Poem by Pleasant Dabbs

California's Screamin'

Rating: 4.0

All the leaves are brown
And the sky is grey
I've been on the run
Since the awful day (when it started)
I'd be safe at home
If I lived in Bombay
California's Screamin'
Put it out today!

Stopped into a church
I passed along the way
Well I got down on my knees
And I began to pray
You know high mountains like the cold
Oh flames please go away
California's Screamin'
On this autumn day
