Wonderful poem. By spending one can buy everything that is available for buying, but certain things cant be brought even after paying, so its worthless in spending what you cant buy. We do invest for our long run, so that when we are not earning, we can spend for our needs. Certainly Peace cannot be brought with money. One has to gain from within. That is really challenging especially in today's life. Beautiful question asked. Loved reading it.

A very explicit message given in this poem, money can be used to buy most anything, but at what price will it be? Loss of your peace of mind, heart or an honored life - in the end is it really worth it? Personally, I don't think it is! A great thought provoking poem, Amitava!
