Kutch qafas meN in dinoN lagta hay ji AshiaN apna hua barbad keya Khawaj Mir Dard) When the bird came to know that her nest was destroyed she started learning and loving the cage. She forgot the charms of freedom. A truly touching poem by Binaya Kumar Mohanty.

When a bird is locked in a cage, she still longs for freedom. This poem sounds like being by medics ;)

Feet tied with dancing Ghoongroo throat choked with verses never mine Me, still standing on the victory post not mine. Me miles and miles far away from Me Tear dropped from lacrymal lake smiles blooming between the banks of hardly opened lips not mine.- - - - - - Freedom trapped in the trade wind- - -Me is not me- - A fine poetic expression of duality of living that almost we all experience in some degree- - What we appear outwardly may not be our truer self- - When we are crying in heart we may wear smile on our face to say every thing is OK and I am the happiest man.

Air going out of the syrinx and you are travelling miles and miles. You are lost in the freedom caged forever. This amazes mind entirely. Seeing young sunrise you feel glitter of happiness and freedom. Beautifully drafted poem with nice imagery is presented...10

often sit on the top most rod of the cage giving orders to the subjects on the floor. Can't quote the whole, but wanted to, every line of yours in this poem is worth 12 poems on this site. Don't finish all these imageries in just a poem. The poem must be made a series of poems to make it palatable. I think you get my point. I am amazed how long did it take for these caged poems to see their morning of life in Poem Hunter? A huge 10+++++ for sharing this powerful poem. Regards. Subhas
