Very Interesting poem.. Either life change our taste or we change our taste. Captured very well. loved it...
Wow. Very interesting. A little cynicism maybe? Very apropos.
life throws us many curves, accepting is the challenge good write
Life teaches us bitterness.A different taste and really nice.
This piece sounds a bit different than what you have done before, still i can feel your words around..so good to try something new_Soul
What remains on the plate is acceptable in whatever state it is. Life is like that. Nicely put. Thank you.
A large dollop of good imagery here Val drinking from the pool of life.
Justice is done to the paraphernalia of imagery used here...essentially a human poem! ! !
We have drunk from the pot of life to our fill and what remains now is the residuum! But still can't we fill it again, though not to the the brim, but at least to a quarter? Short and succinct! !
Culinary marvel, the originality of the message is clear and poignant. The poetic vision strong and lasting. Une petit merveille, mais tres complete. C'est la Vie It sure pleased me! ! ! Magic's in the air
Dessert maybe could be a little optimism pie. Loved this poem and its edginess BB : O)
Hi Val. another great one, I like the humour, don't forget desert.
A great poem, I have a saying, I've had some good cherries in my bowl in my life, now I want some cream to go on top. A good life poem.
C'est la Vie I believe that is French for it is good, please correct me if I am wrong Val. I studied French in High School. I particularly love this poem because it says that life will not always be a cup of tea. The cup of tea is most enjoyable when it is fresh and piping hot and savored with each sip. After awhile when cup empties there maybe a residue that doesn't look to appealing at the bottom of the cup. Make the best of it no matter how it looks. An inspiring write.
