Probably one of my favorites of William Butler Yates. I had a great literature professor in my college days decipher some of Yeat's complicated lines.

O WHAT A BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF POETRY! YEATS HAD NEVER BEEN TO BYZANTIUM, WHICH WAS LATER KNOWN AS CONSTANTINOPLE & PRESENT DAY ISTANBUL! HE HAD SEEN THE ART & PAINTING OF THOSE ANCIENT DAYS AT RAVENNA IN ITALY ONLY! AND SEE WHAT A BEAUTIFUL WORK HE HAS MADE OF IT? ! WE ARE NOT FIT TO RATE SUCH MASTERPIECE! - Raj Nandy
