Bystander Poem by Amelie Summers

Bystander

I sit and stare
I sit and then stand
I look up
And walk away

They hit eachother again
Shout shout shout
I look away
For what shall I do

I wrote it down
In my book
They don't care
It's not graded

They didn't talk to me
I just watch
Close up or from afar
I watch

I don't control my hand
Or my mouth
Or my brain
They aren't mine

I just gaze at them
Are they me
or not?
