Butterfly Effect Poem by Mervyn Graham

Butterfly Effect

Rating: 5.0

In the dance of chaos, a theory blooms,
A butterfly flaps, and the world resumes.
From intricate webs, connections arise,
A single flutter echoes through the skies.

A concept born of whispers faint,
In chaos' grip, it finds its paint.
The flutter of wings, a tiny start,
Sets in motion a work of art.

Small changes ripple, far and wide,
Invisible forces begin to collide.
A flap of wings, a gentle breeze,
Stirs the oceans, rustles the trees.

From a butterfly's wings to the distant air,
A chain reaction, beyond compare.
Insignificant actions, they may seem,
Yet weave the fabric of every dream.

The name it bears, a poetic grace,
Echoes the wonder of time and space.
For in this theory, we find insight,
That every action sets the world alight.

So heed the lesson, clear and bright,
In every choice, in every flight.
For in the chaos, beauty lies,
In the butterfly's dance, the world's surprise.
