Butterfly Comments

Hi Marcella I was busy commenting on you poem (I'll included what I wrote below) and read your poem again. Taking your explanation and looking at the poem again I became very excited. 'i wish they did not have six dots' - this boldly expresses your disappointment in what this number 6 means, as you love butterflies so much. Earlier in the poem you say 'bring me my butterfly into my heart'. The butterfly and you seem to be one, this makes your disappointment that much more deep. 'butterfly is beautiful I wish it had eight dots'. This line seems to call for redemption. If the number 6 is really the number of the devil then let there be a number that can save from the devil owning this wonderful creature and yourself. You'll see below that I mentioned the meaning of the number 8, it is the number of grace. This last line seems to say that if the number 6 belongs to the devil then please give grace that 'all the beautiful things' don't belong to him. I'd just like to advise that you improve on your grammar. This will help a lot. But I enjoy your poetry. Thanks. Keep it up. I'll dropp one of my latest for you to have a look at. Let me know what you thinks. It's also a song. Below is the comment I referred to earlier. I've been off for a while. Just wanted to respond to your butterfly poem. I think I get what you mean by the 6 spots. People like to distort things they hear. I'm sure you've heard people say 'money is the root of all evil.' But that's not true. It actually goes like this: 'The Love Of Money is the root of all evil.' The beast's number is 666. And the beast is a deceiver to bring people to the devil, but he's not the devil. There's nowhere that it says the devil has a number. Yes, numbers have different meanings, and you may have actually stumbled on a very good number (8) for the butterfly. The number 8 is the number for grace. Think about that with regards to a butterfly how graceful it is in it's flight. Perhaps this could have some application to what you're saying in the poem.
