I might ask after you.
You might ask after me.
I might seek you for the truth.
I might look and search for you.
And you might seek to find me, too.
People are stranger than fiction.
More mysterious than fairy tales
People are untrustworthy, but not you.
You are not a fable.
A conflict examining a resolution,
An altogether better way
You are the gospel, the truth.
I do believe, whatever satire-
You use it; it will be true.
I might ask after you.
You might ask after me.
I might seek you for the truth.
I might look and search for you.
And you might seek to find me, too, in your heart.
And bridge those great expanses in the dark.
I do believe, whatever satire-
And however you use it, it will be true.
I do believe whatever folk tales are told.
I'll still love you.
