But Is It Stockholm Syndrome? Poem by Liam Giradot

But Is It Stockholm Syndrome?

Rating: 5.0

Shackled, teased with a key,
Locked, trapped, oh to be free,
Laughter, wept away, can no longer pray,
You said to seize the day, but now all I can say
Is 'Would you seize it with me? '

I want you, I need you, I have to receive you,
You are my rock, my knight, every night,
I don't want to return to normality when I can spend
The rest of my lifetime here.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

I sure can relate to the last two lines of this, in particular. Succinct. t x
