But I'm a simple man One on whom you must demand The love and trust that is due To a woman such as you. Yet, when the end comes near There is much to fear For each has tried to be alone Leaving much for which to atone. s

If brief I would like to say that it is undoubtedly a thoughts provoking splendid poem! You are not a woman, you are a person—an outstanding poet. With love 10+++

Neither man nor woman, we are person. This is a wonderful poem expressing the gender issue in a poetic manner. My 10 for it.

This is a rather plain poem, so I gave it a plain score. There are a few nice lines in here but that's about it.An interesting opening and closing with a dog. I suppose there is meaning there. GW62
