But I’m A Woman Poem by Tsira Gogeshvili

But I’m A Woman

Rating: 4.9

(magram qali var)

I’d have been a good dog
To the devoted master;
I’d have been a worthy horse
For the rider – good and bold…
If I were a flower
I’d be called “Violet”,
And – “Sparrow”
If I were a bird.
If I were water,
I’d babble like
A mountain brook…
But I’m a woman,
Not noticeable,
And not overlooked.
I’m not a dog,
But I’m still reliable…

If brief I would like to say that it is undoubtedly a thoughts provoking splendid poem! You are not a woman, you are a person—an outstanding poet. With love 10+++

But I'm a simple man One on whom you must demand The love and trust that is due To a woman such as you. Yet, when the end comes near There is much to fear For each has tried to be alone Leaving much for which to atone. s
