But God Poem by Gary James Smith

But God

Rating: 5.0

BUT GOD

You are never so alone.. but God
He is there with you
He knows the aching of your heart
The trials that you've been through
And deep as deep as emotions can get
To the strongest of your fears
He records them, every one
Even the falling of your tears

So make a friend with that One
Who is the sinner's Friend
Find in Him a full completeness
Forgiveness without end
There's not a sin that will ever
Keep His love afar
For His grace is greater still
He loves you where you are

So in your busy time today
I trust you will digress
And turn your heart to God's attention
Who wants for you His best
And give to Him some meditation
In fact..... why don't you pray
And ask the Lord to be your Saviour
I trust you will today!

We all need faith no matter who you are, even the non believers pray in the wake of a tragedy. A great poem.
