Lovely bit of writing in Austin, Texas (lived there for five years...) . Your poem speaks to me of the idea that at our essence, we remain that child we were when we first started here. I agree. It seems the longer I'm here, the more I have to learn, to hope for, to strive for. Thanks for sharing.
