Life must be easier
Man may be happier
If not for the word (but)
at the end of the sentences,
I have wealth, but no health
how can I then reduce my tenses?
I have health but no money to visit
all countries without exception
But I lack money, no expenses.
I have a big mansion
One of the most specious one
Beyond any question,
But my wife is not happy
She looks every day long
on her chair next to her wheelchairs,
above, with so much attention,
sighs...if I had got my two good legs
I' d have climbed up the shiny stairs
Like a squirrel without precaution.
I have all sorts of food..
Roasted chickens and turkeys fried
But I've got bad teeth and molars
If I only could buy some big molars
I will have paid a sack of dollars.
On his own table in the dining room lie
All sorts of candies and pastries
But he is diabetic, all sweets must be denied
Yet he may eat some, but he has not tried.
I can climb trees
if not for the ache in my knees.
My sister sent me a luxury coat
But it is too big for me,
leaves my belly bloat
When I hear BUT at the end
Of the speech…I'd like to shut my ears
But it has already been said!
