Bus Stop, On City's Outskirts Poem by james watkin

Bus Stop, On City's Outskirts

In these acts of waiting
Stilly and silent
If chilled, more thoroughly
Heart, despairingly

Life, as the mystical
To explain itself
When left thus, to ponder
Given the offer.

Life, the dream-delayer!
Again, loveless bound!
Sighed back at, starred neon
Luckless wished upon!
