Bury The Hatchet Poem by Lyn Paul

Bury The Hatchet

Rating: 4.6

Time Has come
To bury the hatchet
See that anger
Is wasted breath

Admit wrong
See the hurt caused
Time Lost
Lives Lost
Through Anger

Bitterness
Ruins the taste buds
Disables families
Damages Reputations
Causes disruption
Creates white lies

Just who is to blame
In this blame game

Accept your errors
Learn from the pain
We, Me, You and Them
Have all been wrong

Anger has hurt
Killed, savaged and abused
It has taken its toll

Nothing Good
Comes from Anger

Anger is a vice. This wastes the breath. This provokes thought, promotes violence and war. We should stay away from this vice. We have to learn from anger and learn the positive values. This poem is excellently penned...5 stars..

Anger is a vice that burns the human virtues to ashes. Agree entirely to what you have said in the poem, particularly these last lines: 'Anger has hurt Killed, savaged and abused It has taken its toll Nothing Good Comes from Anger'.

Open mindedness and a willingness to talk get much more accomplished than fighting. This splendid poem does a fine job of promoting peaceful, constructive behavior.
