Bury Me In Gold Poem by Doctor Dashaun Snipes

Bury Me In Gold

Rating: 5.0

Bury me in gold, in the depths of the earth
With the weight of riches, my soul will find rebirth
For I am a creature, of darkness and light
A mix of the holy and the unholy, a divine sight
In this world of chaos, I was an outcast
A misunderstood soul, but now I'll rest at last
No more judgment, no more pain
Just the glitter of gold, forever to reign
My heart was once heavy, with burdens and fears
But now I am free, from all earthly tears
For I have found solace, in the embrace of the dark
Where light and shadow, leave their eternal mark
The drums of metal, will be my funeral march
As I am laid to rest, in a sacred, unholy arch
The riffs and screams, will echo in the halls
As I am buried in gold, never to fall
No cross or tombstone, will mark my grave
Just a throne of gold, where I will be saved
For in this life, I was never understood
But in death, I'll find my true brotherhood
So when I am gone, don't cry for me
For I have found peace, in the depths of the sea
Bury me in gold, and let me rest
For in this golden tomb, I'll be at my best
And when the world ends, and darkness prevails
My soul will rise, with the sound of wails
For I am a creature, of darkness and light
Bury me in gold, and I'll shine bright.
