Buried Wounds Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

Buried Wounds

Buried Wounds

I will not remember those portals
your wounds and your mind injuries,

The last memories of our goodbyes,
the torrential rain of the fallen time,

the darkest chapter of our lives,
When earth veer off its axis,

When life descended into deep creviced
those closed chapters of a love affair,

Your baying at the dark moon,
Like a she wolf with losing a partner,

No moon could ever assembled these tears for my eyes again,
the glory of that love,
back to the innocent girl,

back to the sensible man,
before it made sense that we were incompatible,

Love, we were deceived by the storm,
It buried our bodies into incoherence,
The calm with nothing to say
these two lovers ofthose unfavorable time,
dismembered by space,
