Burden Bearers. Poem by Ogolla Enock

Burden Bearers.

We all have crosses we can't but must bear.
But God does not make mistakes,
He does not put burdens on shoulders
too weak to bear them nor give crosses
without providing adequate strength.

Burden bearers need the Burden Bearer,
otherwise, they will burn out. If your load
is too heavy to bear all alone roll it off
your shoulders into the hands of God.
All things go well when God is involved.

Though He sits high, God is ever here.
He is not a spectator of human plights
who sits back to critic human efforts
and ponders their pain from a distance
while they beg for His intervention.

But God is a reliable help at all times
and He brings no disappointment with it.
But before He can do something for you
or work through you He first has to do
something in you and work on you.

Burden bearers need The Burden Bearer.
Help in one way or another is never far away.
But it comes or fails to come, depending on
the direction of your faith. All you have
to do is to recognize your need for help.
