Burden



I hate to associate you with such a heavy word,
But it’s your own fault that you need to carry this burden.
If you weren’t so sweet; weren’t perfect in every way,
Then your carrying load would be a whole lot lighter.
This heavy word, I’m sure you know
Is none other than love.
