The flaws of this poem seem to be its strength. The imperfect syntax helps propel the message. A message related in some degree to Paul's thorn in my flesh message in 2 Corinthians 12: 7. For when I am weak, I am strong. There seems to be several layers to this poem. Mysterious. One Christian take on this might be that Jesus' words - My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. - seem yet to fully apply
