Bumblebees don't make honey!
Sylvia is trying to be funny!
I love her like a sister,
so I hope she doesn't mind
if I poke a little fun at her;
please don't think I'm unkind!
Only honeybees make honey,
so do bumblebees make bumbles?
If the running back put honey
on his fingers,
would that cause fewer fumbles?
If spiderwebs are made by spiders,
are cobwebs made by cobs?
If men kept all their promises,
would there be fewer sobs?
If you think my mind just rambles on,
then, Friend, you might be right.
I ponder questions just like these
through all the day and night.
To Sylvia Frances Chan: I tried to reply directly to one of your comments, but the reply was lost. Belle has obviously already read your poem, because she says she is poking fun of you and the fact that bumblebees do not make honey!
Beautifully put this 5n Stars poem! Mesmerizing indeed, Belle!
Part 2. " If men kept all their promises, would there be fewer sobs? " reading this, my heart jumped, dear port. It is still heavy. I feel unable to move on…
The fact is neither bumblebees nor Honeybees MAKE honey. They collect it and store it. And feed on it, feed their little ones too on it. Honey is a boon He has given for plants and trees to make. Only the plants and trees. Bees and man just drink it. That is also His boon.
I beg to differ. Honeybees collect NECTAR, not honey, and they do MAKE honey out of the nectar. Bumblebees, however, do NOT make honey.
This is an adorable poem! .. How awesome! .. Very sweet and brings smiles! .. With an adorable picture too! .. Definite 5 Stars! ..+++++
People also ask Can you cFrom Google: You might be wondering if bumble bees make honey. The answer is, no, but they do collect and store nectar.... Also, because bumblebee colonies are modest in size and don't overwinter, they would never store enough nectar for anyone to harvest it.
