Bugblatter Beast Of Traal Poem by Tony Sandy

Bugblatter Beast Of Traal

Rating: 5.0

It's lonely being a Bugblatter Beast of Traal.
I'd like to have a friend
But as soon as I'd greet him
I would want to eat him.

It's lonely being a Bugblatter Beast of Traal.
I'd like to have a wife
Yes that's a female companion
But I know I'd soon want to
toss her down a canyon.

It's lonely being a Bugblatter Beast of Traal.
I'd love my own kids
Running all over the place
But I'd soon wonder if
they tasted as nice as dace?

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I am a great fan of The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, so this was in homage to one of its characters, even if only mentioned in passing
COMMENTS OF THE POEM

It made me laugh. No idea what a bugblatter beast is; nor where Traal is. But the accompanying picture wraps it up perfectly.
