To live a life
As beautiful as a lotus,
Pure, sublime and radiant;
To live a life with
‘Ahimsa' or Non-Violence
In thought, word and deed;
To live a life
With a heart full of love,
Sharing food,
Showering compassion.

An extraordinarily beautiful poem, written so sweetly and truthfully too. We need to see and understand Buddah
Who we do thru your very lovely and fine poem. Honoring, care and beauty is what you do best

2) Imagine that...they are influencing American politics for the destruction of the world. They make up 30% of America's voting public! If the US votes in a president that totally sides with them, the world will be in serious trouble!
This poem is so timely! As I watch in horror at what's happening in Ukraine, I meditate on Buddha's Non-Violence. And I pray to God that the violence stops. Meanwhile, The Evangelical Movement is praying for Armageddon.

So many things to learn from the life of Buddha. Well written, Geeta.
