Broken Pieces Poem by Tameka Morin

okay look so heres the deal,
i was hurt real bad it'll take sometime to heal.
i gave someone my heart
and put it in their hands
and i watch slowly as it hits the floor and lands-
into a shattered million pieces.
i think through my eyes,
that i can see clearly,
but i don't know who i really see.
slowly i am picking up the pieces,
the pieces to my heart.
i don't know when it'll end, or even when it started.
but i know that me and i,
just can't let it slide.
dont know if i can love again, with a broken heart.
dont know if i can love again, it will be very hard.
