A lost love, of which you write, can be quite devastating and hard to endure. A very emotional poem, which succeeds through sincerity and the brilliant extended metaphor of music.

Go together so well. You did a nice job of evoking the mood with your image and then the figurative musical language flowed so well...like a great melancholy ballad. Nice Job. Thanks for sharing.

You have captured the essence of heart break in a most profound and prolific manner. This Is Poetry! And would make a great song! Keep up the great work!

Well nuanced portrayal of a lover's broken heart which simply refuses to play on any musical instruments which earlier used to produce mellifluous notes. Thanks for sharing, Cuyam. Couldn't make a sound with my piano Its keys, like my heart, are broken too Unable to piece together every broken part of me

Wow! ! Just beautiful! ! A lost love, which is uplifting at its beginning but, deflating at its departure. Beautifully done and so lamentable. Keep on writing the world needs you. Add more and more to your list of poems as each one will supersede the previous one. Thank you for bringing your poems to my attention. Lynn W. Petty.

I believe love is a symphony that plays in us. The deeper our love, the more glorious and amplified it becomes. When love departs, the music stops and the silence becomes deafening. Your poem explains this so well. When the heart is broken, so are all the instruments. The music can no longer play. The analogies you use are very effective - the keys of the piano, and the strings of the guitar, like your heart, were also broken, and can no longer produce the music. Very well written.

Rewind the strings and reset the keys and play the enchanting tunes. Well composed.

A sad story, nicely written. Looks like a circle: broken heart-resurrection-broken heart...

it reminds me of the movie Chicken with Plums, the man in the movie put all love melodies into his violin, and creat beautiful musics. Emerson said that all pleasures can't compare with love's pains. you have writen this poem and i am sure you can also create more beautiful arts. Sometimes with one I love, I fill myself with rage, for fear I effuse unreturn'd love; But now I think there is no unreturn'd love- the pay is certain, one way or another; (I loved a certain person ardently, and my love was not return'd; Yet out of that, I have written these songs.) - Walt Whitman

pick up the broken pieces and reborn..someday soon when you think of the past it will only put a smile on your face..leave all the pain behind i know it's not that easy but slowly it will soon be over :)
