Oh Jennifer, I was sad by this here poem but glad I get to read your glowing works of poetry as you write from the heart which makes poetic perfection. I really appreciated the emotional content of this poem as you reached right out and pulled this reader right into you as the warmness of emotional content of your beating heart was vividly felt. Yes being broken is a part of life but let me add that even though one may be forever scared something better is out there and when your heart starts speaking listen to it carefully as your heart may never miss guide you. Thank You so much for sharing your gift of poetry and especially for giving us a little of you. Wonderful poem.
