I really liked your phrasing in this terse and well expressed poem, Caroline. It was quite exceptional compared to the usual poem of unrequited love and it was clearly well thought out ahead of time, not just written on the spur of the moment of inspiration like so many poems I see are. You have a keen poetic talent and it showed very well in this fine poem. Carl.

A very poignant piece that reminds us how painful it is to part with someone you truly care for. But life is like that. It has always a way of putting you back on track with someone who truly deserves you. Keepl writing.
