This is really beautiful. Emptiness gives the realization of what the presence of others mean. Beautiful words

One of the masterpieces of Great Tagore. Who am I to comment on his poetic genius! " I stand under the golden canopy of thine evening sky and I lift my eager eyes to thy face. " Simply masterly.

A true mystical poet of the 20th Century who didn't compromise himself by his use of the English language and grammar to express his unique talent and gift for the literary arts.

A poem conveying all the spiritual elements. We are all in search of eternity but often haven't the glimpse of it. God is eternal and so, eternity goes with god. Eternity means ever continuous and non-perishable. 'Let me for once feel that lost sweet touch '- this line conveys a lot. It reflects one thing in essential - 'lost touch'- the grace that the poet received in his previous births. He longs for that.
